Easter & Mother's Day Around Destin, Florida

Start hopping for joy because spring on the Emerald Coast is officially here. With spring comes all the fantastic local Easter and Mother’s Day festivities.

For a family-friendly Easter activity, Harborwalk Village is hosting its annual Visit the Easter Bunny on April 17. From 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Bring the whole family to enjoy a golden easter egg hunt and other kids' activities. Harborwalk Village is only three miles from our property going towards Okaloosa Island. 

For a very adult-friendly easter activity head over to Boathouse Oyster Bar for their Easter Keg Hunt. Join in the fun on April 9 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. for this adult hide and seek. Tickets are $30 and you can purchase them here. Boathouse Oyster Bar is between Harborwalk Village and Target being a little over two miles from our property.

Mother’s Day is also around the corner, so here are a few fun activities to celebrate your mother:

- Rent a boat from Crab Island Pontoon Rentals and spend the day at Crab Island. Pack some fun drinks, bring your floaties and have some fun in the warm Florida sun with the whole family.
- Treat your mother to a delicious dinner at Marina Cafe. The Pan Seared Andouille Crusted Louisiana Redfish is a must and the sushi is absolutely fantastic. This is a perfect place to celebrate your mother.
- Book a relaxing nail appointment for your mother at Beachside Beauty. Just across the street from Target in Destin and less than a mile from our property, it is the perfect place for her to be pampered.

The waters are warming up, the sun is shining and spring in Florida is the perfect place to spend your Easter and Mother’s Day. Whether you spend Easter partaking in a keg hunt or celebrate your mom by booking a relaxing nail spa day, you and the whole family are sure to have a fantastic spring vacation.
