Always love staying at Gulfgate in Destin. You simply cannot beat the location, amazing private beach, and wonderful units they offer. This was my 2nd stay and at Gulfgate and my first in 804 and we loved it. The kitchen was probably the most well stocked I’ve ever seen. The front desk and beach service was another stand out. My only minor comment is that the master bedroom bed is a little stiff for my liking. I would absolutely stay in this unit again and can’t wait to go back!!

Wonderful 4 days in beautiful Destin at this perfectly located condominium! Enjoyed 804 with the family; staff was perfect-helpful, patient and just really nice folks! Unit was immaculate and the view was GREAT! Very crowded time to be in Destin but our beach was NOT crowded! Well-run beach service and all-around accommodating! We will be back!

Really nice condo, a lot of amenities. All room big screen tvs. Clean and up to date decor and furniture. Large bar icemaker was awesome. Washer and dryer worked well. Being picky, but although Master Bedroom bed and pillows are understandably firm, like hotel rooms, they were a little firmer than we liked. Two teenagers were super happy with the 2nd room with 2 Queen sized beds and there own bathroom.

Clean, tastefully decorated, comfy beds, ice maker, with a 30ft balcony! What else could you need? Oh, and the Back Porch grill is only a few steps away. Also, this is not a particularly crowded area of the beach as the emerald water is in clear, open view. I will use Gulfgate again!

Gulfgate is absolutely beautiful. We have stayed here for several years and will continue to stay here in the future. The workers and the beach service are top notch with the most gorgeous views in Destin. While the condo as a whole was nice, the water pressure in the master bath was terrible, almost to the point of dripping. Maintenance checked it out and said there were no visible problems. We have stayed in other units on this property and have never had this issue. The kitchen sink did not have hot water which maintenance had to come fix as well. This problem was corrected. Lastly the ceiling is extremely thin. We could hear every single noise above us and the family wasn't purposely trying to be loud. Again, we have stayed in several units at Gulfgate and have not had this problem in other units. As a whole, I would highly recommend Destin Gulfgate as your place to stay.

Have been coming here yearly for 2 decades. Walking distance to arcade, restaurant & bar. Breath taking views. Unit was updated nicely, fully stocked kitchen, super comfy beds. Beach is never super crowded. Pool was a great retreat when ocean was too rough to swim. Spacious condos & large balcony. Couldn't ask for anything better.

We have stayed at Destin Gulfgate before. The property continues to improve in every area. Very clean, well appointed and friendly helpful staff. We have no complaints. Our rental unit 804 was updated, clean and comfortable. Best equipped kitchen for rental I have ever seen.

Rented this condo for our daughter and her family. Comfy seating. Updated master bath. Convenient kitchen. Clean. Best beaches, heated pool, helpful staff. The tradition of Gulgate for Thanksgiving is a winner...for over 20 years!

Our stay November 2023 could not have been better. We have stayed at Destin Gulfgate a number of times and each visit has been great. Kristin and Tracy have always given exceptional customer service. We know there are many who make our visits a good experience.

Everything was fine

Our condo was clean and comfortable. We felt right at home! The complex is nice and very easy to get around. The pool is always clean, and the beach is such a short walk. The 2 chairs and an umbrella is super appreciated as well. This was our 2nd stay and we have plans to return for years to come.

We’ve stayed at Destin Gulfgate many times and have enjoyed our experience there every time! The units are all decorated nicely, with all of the comforts of home. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The view from the balcony is wonderful!

Destin Gulfgate was a great place to stay for a short Spring Break getaway. The location was great for getting to grocery stores and our favorite restaurants and the condo unit itself was very nice with a spacious set up for our family of 4.

Nice experience in a place I've been many years in the past -- have not been there for about 7 years.

VERY nice! Will go back again. The four stars on condition was due to renovations going on at the time but we were told before we arrived about that. Only negative was the tankless hot water heater not performing that well.

Our trip was great! I have stayed at Destin Gulfgate numerous times and have always had a good experience! Our unit was beautifully furnished and clean. Only suggestions I have are to add blackout curtains to the second bedroom to block out the hall light that stays on all night by the elevator, reseal the front door to reduce noise reduction (especially with strong wind - howled and whistled very loudly on our last night, upgrade your beach chairs and to have a cabinet of seasonings, especially salt and pepper. Also please list what equipment is in provided on the website (blender, Kuerig, blow dryer, etc) so you know what groceries/items to bring prior. You could probably add a little pop up store in the lobby for trial size toiletries etc for convenience. Overall great place and location.

Too windy a couple of days to set up umbrellas but other than was a great time and the room, furniture, everything was top notch and just a few steps from the back porch makes this the best choice imo

This was our fifth year staying at Destin Gulfgate. We have stayed in different condos each year and all are beautifully designed and well equipped with the necessary items. The view from the balcony is stunning - to see the clear water and white sand is a beautiful site. My kids and grandkids loved the beach and the pool. It was a great week!

Overall it was a great experience. You really cannot beat being right on the beach, especially with it being a private beach that comes with a daily setup of two chairs and an umbrella.
