This condo is just as described and we had a wonderful 35th wedding anniversary despite the weather conditions. My husband and I would definitely return.

Really a wonderful time!

We had such a great time at this condo. It was so clean! Kitchen was fully stocked. Beds were comfy and the location was perfect. We enjoyed the board games too. Just perfection! The staff was friendly and I loved having beach set ups for us during our stay. I can not say anything but compliments, we will definitely be back!

We love the layout of Destin Gulfgate, especially with the second bedroom having two Queen size beds for our son and his friend. All three beds in the condo were very comfortable. Kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, glasses, and stuff to use for making meals. Bathroom in our bedroom was amazing. The secondary bathroom was fine for the boys (they are 15 years old), but the shower needs a little makeover. The location couldn't be better, as we could walk across the street for a lot of activities. It was also nice to have the beach service with the chairs and umbrella. The pool was great, too.

My family and arrived after hours and the checkin process was hassle free. We went to our room and performed our normal inspections and video of the room and while doing so my 10 star experience is now a five because of the condition of the shared bath room. Everything else was okay. Whoever owns unit 205 does not see the value in providing a 5 star experience for their guest. The jets to the tub is dirty it is one of the old tubs with a compact sliding shower door from the past and to think the sofa was not a sleeper sofa. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. This unit had lots of board games, pots, dishes and silverware, etc. The patio furniture was the best I’ve seen since I first visited four or five years ago. The pool was amazing and the newly update gazebo and grills, We definitely tested out the outdoor amenities. Our family grilled oysters and I met Marty and her family from Oklahoma. We shared music, food and made memories that my family will remember for many years to come. Other than the outdated guest bathtub our family will return but we will not select this room until the guest bathroom gets an update. The overall facility gets 10 stars.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay in this unit the last week of June. The unit itself is in very good condition with modern touches and nicely decorated. The 3 kids loved the large pool.

The covered parking space was convenient and beach access is only a few steps from the condo. The unit and large front porch was very quiet as I don’t think we heard a noise from any surrounding condos the entire week.

The fitness center is in good condition and was not crowded at any point during our stay. The water was as clear as any location on the gulf or Caribbean that we have visited. There was a large high quality tv along with board games. The washer and dryer and separate ice maker were nice to have during the week.

The complex is across the street from the arcade/mini golf/go karts and only a couple miles from harbor walk village and the marina. The unit has access to 3 grills that were in good condition and right beside a cabana with tables and bar top space.

We had a perfect time and will certainly look to stay here again.

Everything was perfect with this condo! We’ve stayed in various condo units over the years at Destin Gulfgate, and this one was one of our favorites. Destin Gulfgate never disappoints - always a great experience!

Beautiful, clean, comfortable, with a fabulous view! The only negative, and I had to think hard, is that there are no condiments (salt and pepper, etc) in the kitchen. I most definitely plan to return!

Very nice place. Would definitely stay again. There were some renovation going on the exterior on the property but the work wasn't an issue at all.

Loved the area but we had painters outside our rooms every day. There were days we could not use the lanai. Some days the odor was intense. Some days it was just the presence of other people working on the building. Every day the ropes were in our view and blocked the view of the shore.

We arrived on a Wednesday after 5 pm for our stay. We were given access via lockbox to our rental and a welcome packet, then able to officially check in the following am. The rental was clean and all necessary items were available to us. We loved having such close access to the beach. Beach chair service was amazing, I really enjoyed not having to lug chairs and an umbrella. The patio was awesome with some very nice patio furniture to enjoy the beach view from the comforts of the condo. We truly enjoyed our stay and our only complaint is that we didn't stay longer.

Very short walk to the beach and close to everything. Property is very clean, the cleanest condo we have ever had on a vacation.

the condo was just what I was hoping for. the balcony was awesome, could sit and drink coffee and watched the dolphins play. We took long walks on the beach that was lovely. The condo was very clean and served our purposes wonderfully.

We loved our condo, especially the large veranda. We'll stay again. The only thing we would change is not having coffee in the office daily!!!! This would be a plus.

We have been staying in this unit for about 5 years. Great place. I'm sad to see the prices going up so much next year. Seems like an astronomical jump in one year. Don't think we will be able to afford it anymore.

Room was clean and spacious. Easy access to the beach and pool. We have stayed here for years and always look forward to coming back!

This was a great place for my family to vacation. The beach is gorgeous. We saw so many dolphins. Having the beach chairs out everyday was great. Our unit was clean and beautiful. I would definetly recommend Destin and this condo.

Overall the condo was nice. I was disappointed that there were 2 burned out light bulbs. If the cleaning people missed the burned out bulbs then what else did they miss? I also feel that there should be a couple of small Bottle of shampoo and cream rinse.
