This is our 9th year at Destin Gulfgate and first year for unit 206 which we loved! We will definitely request it again. We loved Destin Gulfgate as it's never as crowded as other condos and the guests are quiet and respectful. Love no smoking on beach! Unit was well furnished and decorated and very clean. Best place to get away from it all!

This was a great condo and complex! It was described perfectly, clean and well stocked. Everything worked just as expected, no issues. Very impressed with Gulfgate. Friendly staff, always asking if you need assistance and eager to help. Pool, beach chairs & umbrella included, parking are all great. We would definitely return to Gulfgate and to unit 206.

Love staying here.We call this our winter getaway.

It is very clean & well maintained.
The employees are also wonderful. It is such a welcoming place.
We would not consider staying in Destin if we could not stay at the Gulfgate.

Very nice condo, but way overpriced

We have stayed at Gulfgate Condominiums 7 or 8 times over the last several years and each stay has been enjoyable. Great location & within walking distance of one of Destin’s most popular restaurants. All units have over 1,400 sq. ft. and a large balcony. Beach umbrella & chairs are included. We have stayed at 3 other locations in Destin & this is our favorite. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our family vacation this year with our whole family in 3 different units. Our family have been coming here since 2013. The staff has always been helpful and amazing. Every unit we have stayed in is always very clean. The pool and surrounding areas is always clean and never crowded. And the beach set up is perfect. We will be back next year!

Loved the condo we stayed in...perfect!! But beware they are working on the condo right above 206!!! So hammering and etc. thru the day!! They are also doing construction at Gulfgate .....did not cause a problem but I can see where in the days to come its going to not be good!!!

The condo was great! The bathrooms were modern, bed was great. Pillows a lil too firm. Decor was very nice. TV’s awesome. No instructions for TV use though. Enjoyed everything about the stay.

Love staying at Destin Gulfgate We have stayed in unit 206 multiple times. Very nice size plenty of room.Everything you need in the kitchen is there. Really nice deco always always updated. Very large balcony with great furniture. Will be back next year.

I have stayed at this property for multiple years and this was another great experience. The beach guy, Robbie, was outstanding!

Once again, we had a magnificent stay at Destin Gulfgate. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the ac is cold!! My only issue is that the pool was cold and it would have been nice if they had heated it. It will be nice when they get the electric gate fixed!! We will be back!

We visit Destin and the Gulfgate annually for a family vacation. This is the first time we've stayed in an end unit and below the 4th floor. We loved it! The unit was in great condition, very clean and extremely well taken care of. We enjoyed being right next to the stairs and not having to use the elevator. I am always happy at the Gulfgate and look forward to going back.

The unit was fantastic, beach service by Robby was exceptional, no problems with check in, front desk staff was great, assigned parking and gated entry gate made it a safe place!!

It’s always beautiful every year! We never stay anywhere else! Its always clean and more private than most places. We will be back soon.

Condo was clean and stocked with cookware and dishes as needed. Spacious rental with large balcony and furniture.

Beautiful unit. Noticeable musty smell upon entering but that got better as we left the windows open. Very clean. All kitchen supplies were new and well stocked. Complex is small and private. Beautiful views. Pool was nicely heated. Would definitely come back. I like the end units that end in 6 b/c they have extra windows on the outside wall that allows more light and you can see the pool.

Our vacation rental was amazing! Spotless and very well put together and kept up. We very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back for another in the future!

We love Gulfgate and have stayed several times. This year the temps had cooled off a bit and the pool was freezing. Would be nice to have it heated earlier in the season if the weather was cooler. The kids love the pool there and didn't get nearly as much use because of the temp. We had requested certain beach chairs for the week and every day we went out we either didn't have a set reserved at all or it was in a different location than requested. Also, the entrance gates were not closed any during the week we stayed. Like staying in a gated community. Overall, it's our favorite place to stay in Destin, but there were some things just off this year.

First time to Destin - and we will be back. Convenient location for easy access to your own private beach and pool. Loved the beach and white sand, and how they spaced the chairs out to follow social distancing.

This is an amazing place to stay! We staying in unit 206 & it was awesome! Clean, modern, & HUGE! Plenty of beds, nice walk in showers, large living area, breathtaking view of the beach! I highly recommend it!

The room was great! Plenty of space for our family, nice decor and clean!
The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the carpet in our rooms, when you mix water and sand in carpet it’s not nice, but not a big deal.
We even decided to stay an extra day! We had such a great time and didn’t want to leave. The chair service was extremely nice as well.
The receptionist went above and beyond as well! I forgot my makeup bag in room and she was kind enough to have it shipped to my home! I couldn’t believe she did that for me, she even packed it super nice so nothing would get damaged! Our family will continue to return to Destin gulf Gate

We had a great week at Gulfgate and 206. The condo looked just like it did online. Very clean and decorated so nice. Had everything we needed. End unit is great! Hope to get back to 206 next year. Thanks for a great trip.
