Leaving at least a stack of 5 coffee filters or so and disposable salt and pepper shakers/packets would have been a welcome consideration as complimentary staple items for the kitchen. The living room upholstered furniture is showing wear and stained though the color choices were up to date. The deck furniture was not comfortable for 4 adults. The 4 older adults staying preferred regular chairs vs pub height chairs. The view and convenience cannot be beat! The updated fitness center, pool and chair setup is impeccable, staff super helpful, elevators ran well, the cleanliness of the facility, safety, and maintenance so appreciated. We appreciate the friendliness of the residents and renters every time we stay at Gulfgate too.

This stay was my favorite Florida stay. I'm from Texas, so I didn't know I loved the Ocean/beach until traveling out of state. Waking up to the view in such an awesome unit was so relaxing. I have told everyone about it.

Even better than expected! Destin Gulfgate was recommended by friends. Not disappointed at all. Lots of space in every room. King bed was very comfortable. The two queens were a little hard for my taste but my daughter slept great. Living room was comfortable. But the highlight for me was the balcony and the view. Beyond wonderful, be it full sun or stormy. I never got tired of it. You don't need to actually go to the beach because you feel you are there(only being 5 floors up). So close to the water's edge and the sound of the Gulf is so soothing. Property is centrally located, short drive to a lot of Destin destinations. Would highly recommend to everyone.

It was amazing... very impressed with Gulfgate.
We loved the room. So perfect. The balcony was beyond what we expected. All of the working staff were kind and friendly. Will DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN.
(The ice maker stopped working but we really didn't use it much. I did report to the office about that)

Absolutely love this place!! Went 2 times this year and we can not wait to go again next year.

Very clean and comfortable condo! The condo is very roomy compared to others. New appliances throughout. Ice make was a nice bonus. Located close to all the activities. Pool was very nice and clean with a slide and splash area for the Littles.

Great condo. Beautiful beach! Perfect size. Condo is roomy and the beach is not as crowded as other larger condos around.

We loved our stay at Destin Gulfgate! Everything was so easy. The staff were very kind and helpful. It was clean and quiet, and it was nice to have a beach that wasn't crowded. The only thing missing is a handicapped ramp down to the beach; hopefully, one of those will be installed. We had a great time, and we will be back!

This property was perfect for what we wanted. It was beachfront with daily beach service. The views from the balcony were incredible when you weren't on the beach soaking up the sun or relaxing under the umbrellas. Having a full kitchen gave us the option to eat in when we wanted. Parking at the property was easy and there are tons of great restaurants in close proximity so eating out was easy as well. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The location was perfect with beautiful views of the ocean from balconies. Our 2 condos were clean and well-maintained with all kitchen Necessities including a crockpot! Check in was easy and front desk very helpful. Grandbabies loved the pool.We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here with my son, his wife and their two small children. Everything was there- plenty of bath towels, a well equipped kitchen, clean and simple decor. Best ocean front I have ever seen!

Our rental was great, as usual.
We've been going to Destin for at least 16 yrs.
Sad to see rental rental rates getting out of control next year.
Ends our stay at Gulfgate after many years of enjoyment.

I have stayed at the Destin Gulfgate many times. Ideal location on beach, you can walk to the Back Porch, a Destin Legend for delicious seafood. Our unit was very clean, recently updated. The balcony is huge, spent a lot of time out there! Pool was spotless and heated. You are literally on the most beautiful beach in the world. I love that you don’t have to walk thru acres of other buildings to get to the beach.

There were some issues. My wife is disabled. We had inquired about walk-in shower but failed to ask about beds. The master BR bed was too high for her to access. We notified the desk and they swapped rooms. The new room had a lower bed that my wife could access. The master BR had no grab bars to assist use. During our stay a commode broke and the staff promptly installed a replacement. The staff was great in working with us. We learned to ask more questions concerning disability access. We had never encountered the bef heighth problem previously.

Each time we visit Destin we try to stay at Gulfgate b/c we love the location. This time our condo was #503. It is very nice but there were a couple of things that we wished we could have changed. First, the low seated commodes and second the cloth living room furniture. Its just a preference especially b/c of the pandemic. Otherwise, this condo was perfect!

Destin Gulfgate is a great place to stay. The beach wasnt crowded in that section. The condo was very nice and clean. Staff was very friendly. We will definitely be staying here again.

We rented 2 condos and one was just as equally beautiful as the other. Destin Gulfate did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend these condos to anyone that want a wonderful experience on the beach. We will definitely be back.

Destin Gulfgate #503 was the perfect getaway during what we called a Covid Christmas. This unit was exceptionally clean and ready for our stay. Nicely appointed with just about everything you would need to socially distance your stay. Our only complaint is the mattresses in the second bedroom need replacing. They are awful. Other than that it was a perfect stay!

From the moment we walked in and saw the ocean it was perfection! The condo was very comfortable and we loved the decor. Seeing the ocean from the Master Bedroom was an extra bonus and we enjoyed the balcony so much. We can't wait to come back!!! Don't miss out on this gem!!!

Just returned from Destin and a wonderful family vacation. I rented three condos at Gulfgate and all three were perfect in every way....clean, well stocked, with plenty of room. There is no place else in Destin that I would even consider staying. Great beach access, don't think you could be any closer. Everything was perfect from the weather to the water to the condo to the staff at Gulfgate. FIVE STARS!!!

We really love the way this rental was decorated. It has an up to date modern look.Everything was clean and the balcony has more than enough comfortable seating. I love having the table outside to eat and enjoy the view.
