Wonderful place to stay in Destin. Plenty of beach and the best balcony dinners.

Very central location

We came to Destin Gulfgate for about 5 yrs , 20 years ago before kids. This establishment does not disappoint. We loved this condo!!! The decor was beachy, the kitchen was fully stocked, they had extra blankets and pillows and loved the 2 queens in the 2nd bedroom. This condo has a beautiful view with steps from the beach that include 2 chairs and umbrella. Coming from the beach, you can dip into the pool and then head up to the room. All dining is close and go carts and mini golf are across the street, and the Back Porch is a 2 minute walk on your street. I remember why we loved these condos so much....private beach!!! Not too busy but the teens can walk in either direction and hang with friends. Make this your next stay, you will not be disappointed!!

This condo was perfect for me. I will be returning to this condo later this summer.

Gulfgate is always a wonderful time. Close to the beach and water but the price is starting to be way to high for what you get.

This was our 4th year staying in condo 304 and it was amazing. It’s always immaculately clean. The views are out of this world. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay again and again and recommend it to anyone.

My husband and I spent a wonderful week at Destin GulfGate in Destin, FL. Condo unit 304 is a lovely unit with beautiful decor. It had everything we needed during our week there. The view of the ocean from the balcony was excellent. Everyone on staff was helpful and pleasant. A great week for us!

We decided at the last minute to spend a week at the Gulfgate after watching the weather. It was great! Temps in the 70’s and hardly anyone at the beach!! We stay in 304 and it was perfect.

We have stayed at Gulfgate for over 28 years. It never disappoints. Beautiful water, best location, and friendly staff are only a few of the positives.
And we’ll be back!

This was our 3rd time staying at the Destin Gulfgate in the same unit each time. We absolutely love staying here. The condo is always exceptionally clean. The views are amazing. We really enjoy sitting on the balcony overlooking the beach and emerald green water. The condo is convenient to everything in Destin. We plan on returning again next year.

We like 2nd or 3rd floor bc view is still great & easy to take stairs if need be. It's ashame that prices are being raised 100% or we would definitely be back nx year. I understand raising prices some to keep up with times, but double is too much :(

Accommodations were very nice, spacious, and situated right on the beach providing a lovely view. The Kitchen had all the essentials for meals in and the in unit laundry area was very nice. I wish the unit provided beach towels but they do make that very clear in the description.

Everything I expected

This was the second time we have stayed in this unit and it was again fabulous. We love it so much, we would stay forever if we could.

Where do I start? The office staff was AMAZING! This was our first family trip to the beach with the littles and it was an amazing time. We received emails prior to checking in that gave us great information on what to expect and what to bring. Teresa at the front office was very nice and informative. Upon check in she asked if my kids wanted to come in the following morning and help her feed the fish in the aquarium. Of course they were excited and obliged her! I LOVE IT here! The condo was super clean and the decor was beautiful. I’m a real estate agent and I can appreciate beautiful interiors. There’s so much more that I can say but I’ll save it for my next visit soon!!! Oh, it was very convenient to have a key box that allows you to drop off keys or pick up keys if you’re checking in/out and the office is closed! We used the box when we left. Again, I love it here!

I can’t decide the best part about destine Gulfgate. Seeing dolphins every morning from the balcony and having uncrowded front row beach seats set up for us everyday....or sleeping with the sound of the ocean right beside me...I can’t decide. We love walking to the Backporch for fresh fish and the candy shop just beside it for amazing sweet treats and ice cream. We come back every year!

I have stayed at Destin Gulfgate several times over the last 20 years. I have rented several different units and all have been clean and comfortable. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and I have never had any issues with any of my stays there. This time is no different. Everything was great and we enjoyed our stay.

This unit and location was immaculate, perfect for our family! The unit itself was beautifully decorated, 3rd floor was ideal, and all the amenities you could want! This room came with its own designated, covered parking spot, which was perfect for our needs. We highly recommend and will return!

We've been coming here to Destin gulfgate for 5 years and more to come! We've enjoyed and had great experiences everytime, from the condos to the staff. Best place hands down.
