We shared the rental with another couple and there was plenty of room and privacy for all of us. Cooked breakfast and ate on the deck. Wonderful!

Our family vacation couldn’t have been more enjoyable! The facilities, amenities, and staff were all top notch! Spacious living arrangements and plenty of options for food and fun all within walking distance. Without question we will be back!

We had a wonderful 3 days at Gulfgate. We were pleased with the recent maintenance upgrades and happy with unit 305. Our favorite room was the balcony! Our morning coffee place! There was nothing wrong with our 3 days of relaxing. We will return again

Our only complaint is that the furniture (den AND patio) was not in good condition. The cushions on the den couch need to be replaced. The patio furniture was NOT what is shown on the website. We chose this unit partly because the patio furniture online looked so comfortable and fresh. We were disappointed. I have stayed at DGG many times and this was the first time our friends joined us. Prior to the trip I sent the link to our friends, so they too were expecting more from the patio furniture.

We love Gulfgate!! It’s so clean, quiet, and safe! Room 305 was beautiful! The furniture and master bed were very uncomfortable (thinking they are just worn down), but we were at the beach or pool most of the time so it wasn’t a huge hinderance. The staff is always great and there’s never a wait at the elevators!! 10/10

This unit was very comfortable. Big enough for a family of 6. Kitchen had everything you will need and more. Full size washer and dryer and a large outdoor space with comfortable furniture. I would definitely stay here again.

We have never had any problems with the units at Destin Gulfgate in the nearly 20 years my parents and now my family have been going there. They are always clean and updated. The property is conveniently located near everything and is easy to get in and out. Highly recommended!!

Absolutely loved it at Destin Gulfgate!! Right on the beach and great area for families to enjoy numerous activities within walking distance! Walmart was literally two minutes down the street for groceries or any other things needed. Next time we visit Florida this will definitely be our go to rentals!

Great stay, just getting too pricey for what you get.

The property is immaculate and the staff are friendly. Construction was happening and our patio furniture was in our living room for our entire stay. We were aware of this process before we arrived. Gulfgate had in writing the warning of balconies could be inaccessible. However it was a shock to come back from an outing to see everything in our condo. Without a call, text, or email for a warning. Some simple contact would have been considerate. Overall our stay was wonderful.

Everything was exactly like I hoped it would be. The property looked like the pictures. The beds were amazingly comfortable. The location was awesome for what my family was hoping to enjoy. We will be back again to the exact room.

Simply beautiful location to unwind and relax whether that be by the ocean or lounging on the deck! This condo was in a great location, private beach, pool, and garage space! Staff were kind, courteous and communicated effectively. 305 was nicely decorated with all the conveniences of home. We throughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

For many years now me, my sister, our cousin and aunt go to Destin for Mother’s Day week as our treat to ourselves.
We have tried several condos in the area but we love Destin Gulf Gate the most. We love the location, the helpful staff downstairs, the large size of each unit, built-in cabinet ice maker, the walk-in pool, gym, the cleanliness of every unit and the high standards that Destin Gulf Gate requires of its owners. We have stayed in a different unit each year and they have all been lovely.
This year we chose unit 305 because of its price, its decorator and good reviews. We found the kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. The beds where extremely comfortable, super soft bedding, plenty of bath towels, and a nice large washer and dryer. The refrigerator was new and large, the stove had many burners.
The “cabana guys” on the beach were so polite and carried our ice chest to and from our umbrella each day. Christian and Bailey went beyond and above to see that these ol’ gals were taken care of. :)
Thank you for another wonderful stay at Destin Gulfgate and we hope to return to unit 305 in the future.
As a side note, recommendation to our favorite places to eat; Dewey’s on the bay (Crab Island) has THE BEST fried shrimp. The grouper sandwich is so good at the Back Porch (walking distance) and Tuscany Italian Bistro is delish. Also, Bochamps and Tommy Bahama’s did not disappoint this Mother’s Day brunch as Henderson Inn, but it’s a bit pricey. Enjoy!

Destin's Gulfgate is a spectacular place to stay, as it has many amenities and their front desk personnel are very friendly and helpful. Gulfgate also has a nice pool area and exercise room as well. Condo 305 has every possible cooking item you may require. The living space is very comfortable and up-to-date. Both bedrooms have comfortable beds as well as modern bathrooms. The balcony is where we spend much of our time and it offers a nice "daybed" as well. These owners have a good touch with decorating as we enjoyed our surroundings.

One of the best condos we have ever stayed in. The furnishings were comfortable and beautiful - truly felt like home!
